YAMHILL COUNTY-It's official. The HighFlyers are Yamhill County's first sports franchise! On April 24, 2009, McMinnville Mayor Rick Olson, Chamber President Phil Hutchinson, Commissioner Mikal Duilio, and other dignitaries welcomed the team to McMinnville and to greater Yamhill County.
The HighFlyers will be playing their first full season in 2010, featuring 10 home, 10 road, and 2 neutral site games. The HighFlyers first home game will be on Thursday, May 13th against the Central Oregon Hotshots. Their final home game will be against the Los Angeles Lightning (which feature a star-studded roster of 6 former NBA players, including Lamond Murray and Bryon Russel) on Thursday July 1st.

HighFlyers Earn 1st Win

The Yamhill High Flyers achieved their first victory in franchise history on May 28th, 2009 in a game against Japan's Nippon Tornadoes. The HighFlyers will be playing their first full season in the IBL in 2010, featuring 10 exciting home games. The first home game will be on Thursday, May 13th against the Central Oregon Hotshots.
